About Thrive

Clinical reasoning. Practical care.

An independent moving and handling, Optimal Handed Care and rehabilitation service run by physiotherapists and occupational therapists with at least ten years' experience each.

Start with consent, preferences, participation, dignity and daily goals.

How we work

Refer → Triage → Assess → Intervene → Review.

Every case follows the same five steps, and every recommendation is written so a carer can follow it and a reviewer can check it. We inform the Local Authority’s Care Act decision; we do not replace it, and we refer onward when specialist input is needed.

Governance

Registered, insured, checked.

HCPC-registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists, each with at least ten years’ clinical experience; medical-malpractice and public liability cover for every clinician (CSP professional liability insurance scheme for physiotherapists); enhanced DBS (adult workforce). Information governance, safeguarding and complaints policies are published.

How we work

Five steps. One clinical question.

Swipe to see all five steps →

01

Refer

Tell us what is happening: the person, the setting and what you need answered. No clinical records in the first message.

02

Triage

We identify the appropriate assessment pathway and priority, and say so if a different service fits better.

03

Assess

We assess the person, task, equipment, environment and staff requirements together, on site or remotely where appropriate.

04

Intervene

Rehabilitation, equipment optimisation, training or care-plan recommendations, written so they can be followed and checked.

05

Review

Reassess when function or circumstances change. A plan has a review date and triggers, not an expiry.

Next step

Start with the clinical question.

Book a single assessment, or talk to us about a caseload, a service or a training programme.
